WOM Finance seeks Rp 500 billion via bond issuance

JAKARTA - PT Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha Tbk (WOMF) or WOM Finance is seeking Rp 500 billion through the issuance of Shelf-Registered Bond III Phase IV 2020, which will take place on September 3-7, 2020. Proceeds from the corporate action will be used as working capital.

In a prospectus published on Monday (24/8), the company said the bond will be issued in two series', namely Series A amounting to Rp 328 billion with a 8% interest rate per year and a tenor of 370 days, and Series B amounting to Rp 172 billion with a 9.15% interest rate per year and a tenor of three years.

The bond is guaranteed with a full commitment by appointed underwriters, namely PT BNI Sekuritas, PT Indo Premier Sekuritas, PT Maybank Kim Eng Sekuritas, and PT RHB Sekuritas Indonesia. PT Fitch Ratings Indonesia has awarded the bond an AA-idn rating, while PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) has been appointed as a trustee.

As of June 30, WOM Finance had Rp 658.26 billion in assets and cash equivalents, Rp 5.73 trillion in consumer financing receivables, and Rp 39.60 billion in other receivables. Additionally, the company also posted Rp 1.12 trillion in total revenue, down from Rp 1.25 trillion on June 30, 2019. (LK/MS)
