DSNG will not enter downstream CPO sector in the near future

JAKARTA - PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG), a palm oil plantation company, has no plans to enter the downstream CPO sector in the near future. The plan was stated by Andrianto Oetomo, Director of PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG) in the company's public expose sheet, yesterday (26/8).

According to him, DSNG only recorded a CPO sales volume of around 600 thousand tons. Meanwhile, to enter the downstream sector, he said, the CPO sales volume recorded has to be above 900 thousand tons. "Maybe in the next 5-6 years, we will enter the downstream sector," he said on Thursday (27/8).

He said that in the first semester of 2020, the company has 12,450 hectares (Ha) of planted area and 10 palm oil mills with a total capacity of 570 tons per hour. (LK/AR)
