Tira Austenite to apply for Rp 150 billion loan to Bank Mandiri

JAKARTA - PT Tira Austenite Tbk (TIRA) will apply for a Rp 150 billion loan to PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI). The plan has been approved at an EGM on Friday (28/8), with 50% of the company's assets used as collateral.

According to TIRA Corporate Secretary Soeseno Adi, the loan will have an interest rate of maximum 13% per year with a five-year tenor. "[The EGM] has approved the board of director's decision to use 50% of the company's assets, including its subsidiaries, as collateral," he said.

The said assets are located in several locations and include land and buildings in Pulo Gadung, Jakarta, Bogor, Deli Serdang, Banten, Cikarang, Maspion VI Industrial Area, and Gresik; Rp 26 billion worth of machinery; Rp 50 billion worth of receivables; Rp 80 billion worth of goods supply; and over Rp 2 billion worth of deposits.
