JAKARTA - PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) is modernizing its fibre optic-based telecommunication infrastructure network in a number of cities, in order to ensure equitable access to information.
Herlan Widjanarko, Director of Network and IT Solution at PT Telkom Tbk (TLKM), said that the modernization was an important foundation in providing digital services for Indonesian people. "Government activities can be done digitally," he said in a written statement during the inauguration of Madiun Modern City on Friday (4/9).
Through the modernization of telecommunications infrastructure, he said, TLKM wants to improve ICT services, which will support the development of the local and national economy. (LK/AR)
