Budiman Susilo, as the Director of HOKI said, "This is a certification for the first year of HOKI. In the future we will continue to make efforts to reduce carbon both in the production process and in packaging."
In obtaining this certification, HOKI collaborated with Turnkey Group, a modulated Operational Sustainability Software & Supply Chain Risk Platform (Sustain-Tech). HOKI uses the Turnkey Group's Sustain-Tech SaaS Platform to digitize the company's environmental data, and map its analytics and reporting according to the International Sustainability Certification Program linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Recorded in the certification, the total carbon footprint of HOKI for the period January 2019 to December 2019 is 5,431.57 tCO2e (tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent). Budiman added, "In the first year, the energy measured was the use of electricity, fuel and packaging. For next year we are given a carbon reduction target of 2.5% or 135.8 tCO2e." (LM)
