Indonesia Eximbank and Askrindo launch cooperation to support MSMEs

JAKARTA - Indonesia Eximbank and state-owned insurance firm PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Persero) or Askrindo have signed a cooperation agreement regarding loan insurance for MSMEs.

The agreement was signed by Indonesia Eximbank Managing Director I Dikdik Yustandi, Indonesia Eximbank Managing Director II Djoko Retnadi, and Askrindo Commercial Operation Director Dwi Agus Sumarsono in a webinar on Tuesday (8/9).

In an official statement, the Ministry of Finance said the cooperation is part of the government’s effort to support export-oriented MSMEs during the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

In addition, Indonesia Eximbank has also signed a memorandum of cooperation with business actors, represented by Indonesia Eximbank Jakarta Regional Office Head Pretty Halim and PT Urchindize Indonesia representative Kenji Kusuma. (MS)
