JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority launched the Online Banking Provisions Information System (Sikepo) mobile application which is expected to increase compliance and disseminate information and education on various regulations in the banking sector.
"Through the presence of the SIKePO mobile application, we hope that it will make it easier for stakeholders to find and understand the provisions. Furthermore, with the increasing understanding and compliance with banking regulations, it is expected to minimize the occurrence of violations of banking regulations," said Chief Executive of Banking Supervision Heru Kristiyana.
Sikepo was designed and issued as an effort by the OJK to improve the understanding of stakeholders in the banking sector who often do not correctly understand new provisions or changes to several regulations in the banking sector.
The SIKePO mobile application can be downloaded via mobile devices in the Google Playstore and App Store with the keyword SIKePO OJK. Through this tool, users can search for the terms they need more easily and quickly by using the search feature by keyword, type, title, number, and / or year of the regulations.Users can also directly download the regulations that will be displayed on the smartphone screen.
