Demeter Indo Investment increases its stake in ROTI

JAKARTA. Demeter Indo Investment Pte. Ltd. has increased its stake in PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI) to 19.64% for investment purposes.

Jaka Prasetya, Director of Demeter Indo, said that Demeter Indo purchased 98.54 million shares, equivalent of 1.59% of all ROTI shares.

Prior to the transaction, Demeter Indo only had 1.12 billion shares. "Or 18.05% of ROTI['s issued and paid-up share capital," said Prasetya in a disclosure submitted to the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Demeter Indo purchased the shares at a price of Rp1,230 per share. Thus, this Singapore-registered investment company has spent around Rp121.2 billion for the transaction. (KR/AR)
