27 October 2020 08:08

JAKARTA. PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) choose to restructure its loan as an effort to maintain liquidity and to provide working capital for a number of projects.

WSBP's president director, Moch Cholis, explained that the current instalment and interest payments were quite large. Therefore, the company chose to restructure by making scheduling changes to loans.

At present, WSBP's debt to private banks is recorded at Rp2 trillion.

Cholis explained that his party would rollover the loan facility from private banks, by postponing payments and making changes in the payment scheme.

This way, he hopes to save money to maintain liquidity so that it can provide working capital for its projects.

Apart from restructuring, the company will also try to increase revenue by disbursing the company's receivables from the parent company, Waskita Karya. (AM/AR)
