JAKARTA. Despite the fact that its sales only grew by 1.86% to Rp23.61 trillion, PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) managed to increase its net profit by 78.21% to Rp295.12 billion, mainly because the company managed to cut its cost of goods sold by 3.54%.
The company's financial reports for the third quarter of 2020 revealed that the company's sales increased from Rp23.17 trillion to Rp23.61 trillion.
The company recorded growth in various segments, including voucher sales (to Rp3.18 trillion, +8.9%), computers and other electronic equipment sales (to Rp1.01 trillion, + 15.24%) and accessories sales (Rp1,66 trillion, +10.67%). Meanwhile, its main segment (phone and tablet sales) declined by 5.35% to Rp17.33 trillion. (AM/AR)
