JAKARTA - PT Petrocean Indo Pasifik (PIP), a subsidiary of PT Sillomaritime Perdana Tbk (SHIP) bought one unit of oil tanker from Sembrani Maritime Ltd for US $ 18.5 million. The sale and purchase transaction between the two companies took place earlier this week (16/11).
Herjati, President Director of PT Sillomaritime Perdana Tbk (SHIP) said that the purchase of the tanker was to support operational activities and add value to assets; and they had no affiliation with Sembrani Maritime. "The source of funds for the purchase of the tanker unit comes from bank credit, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk," she said in the disclosure of information on Thursday (18/11).
Currently, SHIP has various types of fleets, including tug boats, floating storage offloading, utility vessels, crew boats, anchor handling tug supply, and gas carriers (LPG tankers). (LK/VA)
