Credit restructuring in banks has reached IDR 934.8 trillion

JAKARTA. As of 2 November, at least 101 banks had restructured the credit of 7.55 million debtors, with an outstanding value of IDR 934.8 trillion.

Executive Director of Banking Research and Regulation at the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Anung Herlianto said that most of the debtors came from the MSME sector (5.85 million) with an outstanding of IDR 371.1 trillion.

Anung revealed that the figure is the largest one ever recorded in the history of national banking, said Anung. 

The OJK recently issued an extension for the restructuring policy until 30 March 2022.(AM/AR)
