26 November 2020 07:55

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Armada Indonesia Tbk (IPCM), a shipping service company, plans to buy one tug boat and three pilot boats next year. This was stated by Amri Yusuf, Director of IPCM, in a public expose on Thursday (26/11).

He said that certainty of the plan would depend on economic conditions in 2021. The addition of fleet is the company's strategic plan to expand the market organically and non-organically. "Pelindo 1, Pelindo 3, and Pelindo 4 are opportunities to provide services," he said.

He did not mention of the capex prepared for the plan. Currently, IPCM operates 83 ships, consisting  tug boats, pilot boats and mooring boats. The company operates 11 branch offices and 6 special terminals. (LK/VA)
