JAKARTA - PT Menteng Heritage Realty Tbk (HRME)'s revenue decreased significantly in the third quarter of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was conveyed by Christofer Wibisono, President Director of HRME, in the public expose report quoted on Thursday (3/12).

"The current condition is rather difficult for the hotel industry, but we are trying our best to recover," he said.

By the third quarter of 2020, HRME's revenue was recorded at IDR 35.45 billion, a decrease compared to the same period last year of IDR 80.58 billion. The largest revenue contributor came from The Hermitage hotel with IDR 13.99 billion (39%), followed by shipping business of Global Samudra Nusantara (GSN) with IDR 13.44 billion (38%), and Pomelotel IDR 8.01 billion (23%) . In the same period last year, The Heritage Hotel contributed 57%, followed by GSN 23%, and Pomelotel 20%.

According to him, their income would still be affected by the pandemic until the end of this year. The paid isolation program for COVID-19 patients at Pomelotel Jakarta in October 2020 did not optimally support the company's revenue. (LK/VA)
