JAKARTA - PT Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD) revenue fell 47.5% in the first nine months of 2020 to Rp 1.55 trillion. In the same period last year, the company's revenue was recorded at Rp 2.96 trillion.
However, Blue Bird is showing quite solid improvement amid the pandemic. In the second quarter of this year, the company's revenue was recorded at Rp 267 billion and in the third quarter it was recorded at Rp 353 billion, an increase of 32.2%.
In the public expose event today (10/12), Blue Bird hopes that the company's performance in the fourth quarter will improve, along with the increasing national economy.
Blue Bird also continued to carry out efficiency in general and administrative expenses, which decreased from Rp 188 billion in 3Q 2019 to Rp 118 billion in 3Q 2020. However, due to lower revenues, the company had to book a net loss of Rp 157.94 billion in 9M 2020, or down. around 168.7% compared to 9M 2019 net profit of Rp 229.75 billion. (LM)
