JAKARTA - PT Asuransi Ramayana Tbk (ASRM) is confident that its premium income until the end of the year will reach Rp 1.44 trillion, said ASRM CEO Syahril in a public expose report published on Monday (14/12).
According to Mr Syahril, ASRM's management revised its 2020 premium income target from Rp 1.60 trillion to Rp 1.36 trillion due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, as of October the company recorded Rp 1.35 trillion in premium income. "We are confident that our premium income by the end of the year will exceed our target by Rp 92 billion," Mr Syahrir said.
As of September, ASRM posted Rp 1.20 trillion in premium income and Rp 49.96 billion in net profit. In 2019, the company recorded Rp 1.46 trillion in premium income, up from Rp 1.13 trillion in the same period in 2018, while its net profit reached Rp 62.86 billion and Rp 76.59 billion respectively.
