JAKARTA. PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL) or Sritex will still focus on export sales this year, including by strengthening its US market.

According to Sritex President Director Iwan Setiawan Lukminto, the company will strengthen its sales to the US market and increase sales portions in South American countries including Brazil.

Late last year Sritex delivered eight containers of military uniform to the Philippines, which became the 36th country that purchased military uniform manufactured by Sritex overall and the eighth in Asia-Pacific after Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Timor-Leste, Singapore, Nepal, and Australia.

While focusing on export sales, the company will not abandon its domestic market, said Mr Lukminto in an official statement.

As of the third quarter (Q3) of 2020, Sritex recorded US$517.08 million in export sales and US$390.01 million in domestic sales. (AM/MS)
