JAKARTA - PT Hero Supermarket Tbk (HERO), as IKEA Indonesia business operator, stated that it had no operational impact on the lawsuit by PT Agri Lestari Nusantara (ALN) against IKEA Supply AG. This was conveyed by Hadrianus Wahyu Trikusumo, Director of HERO in an information disclosure quoted on Thursday (14/1).
He explained that PT Rumah Mebel Nusantara, a subsidiary of HERO, as the manager of IKEA, did not have legal problems with ALN. "ALN is a factory that produces a small portion of doormat products for IKEA Supply AG," said the Director.
According to Mr. Trikusumo, the company did not have any connection regarding the current issue between IKEA Supply AG and ALN, including the impact to the company's financial condition. IKEA Supply AG is engaged in Core Range and Supply which is directly controlled by Inter IKEA System BV, the owner of IKEA franchise business. (LK/VA)
