JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) estimated that fund raising in the capital market will reach IDR 150 trillion - IDR 180 trillion this year. This was conveyed by Wimboh Santoso, Chairman of the OJK Board of Commissioners in a press release quoted on Monday (18/1).

He conveyed that the projection of the proceeds will be achieved driven by various strategic policies that have been jointly issued by the Government, Bank Indonesia and other stakeholders. "Fund raising in the capital market will recover to its pre-COVID-19 conditions," he said.

According to him, the forecast for capital market recovery is also accompanied by the issuance of debt securities. In addition, bank credit is also expected to grow by around 7.5% and third party funds in banks to grow by around 11% this year (year on year).

"The accounts receivable from the finance company industry will also grow positively in line with the increase in public consumption," he said. (LK/LM)
