Indonesian capital market records positive movement last week

JAKARTA - During 11-15 January 2021, the Indonesian Capital Market recorded positive movement of trade data. The highest increase was in the average transaction volume of 48.77 percent to 32.357 billion shares from 21.750 billion shares the previous week. Then the average daily transaction value during the week increased by 33.06 percent or to Rp 25.151 trillion from Rp 18.902 trillion at previous week’s close.

The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) also increased by 1.85 percent and recorded at 6,373,412 from 6,257,835 at the close of the previous week. During the week, the stock exchange market capitalization also closed up 1.77 percent or Rp7,430.367 trillion from Rp7,301.016 trillion in the previous week. On Friday, foreign investors recorded a net buy value of Rp.49.80 billion, while throughout 2021, they recorded a net buy of Rp 10.570 trillion.

The beginning of the second week of January 2021 was marked by bond listings. On Monday (11/1), the Ketrosden Triasmitra I Bond 2020 were officially listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) issued by PT Ketrosden Triasmitra with a principal of Rp 583 billion. Then on Friday (15/1) Pyridam Farma I Bond 2020 issued by PT Pyridam Farma Tbk. was listed on the IDX with a principal of Rp 300 billion and a 5 years tenor. (LM)
