JAKARTA - PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) announced its plan to launch the web series, My Lecturer My Husband (MLMH) season 2, which had succeeded to be the most popular content on WeTV platform of Tencent Thailand.
Manoj Punjabi, CEO of FILM, said that the launch of MLMH season 2 web series would help the company to run its film production business, to reach a wider audience through WeTV platform. "MD Pictures is proud of the partnership with WeTV to bring a variety of Indonesia's favorite movies and series to the global community," said Punjabi in a press release received by idnfinancials.com.
Meanwhile, Lesley Simpson, Country Manager of WeTV and iflix Indonesia, admitted that MLMH was one of WeTV's original series that had been eagerly awaited. "To meet the audience's demand, we, from WeTV and also MD Pictures will make a second season," said Simpson.
Currently, FILM continues to strive in increasing its market share in the premium entertainment market, which is broadcasted via various online platforms. This is shown by cooperation between the company and various leading digital platforms, such as Disney+ Hotstar, WeTV, iflix, Viu, Netflix, Video, and Maxstream. (KR/VA)
