Capex Austindo prepares IDR 620 billion capex, mostly for replanting

JAKARTA. In an effort to maintain and increase plant productivity, PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk has prepared a capital expenditure (capex) of US$ 42.8 million or the equivalent of IDR 620 billion. Most of the budget will be used for replanting oil palm plantations.

Austindo Nusantara Jaya Finance Director Lukas Kurniawan explained that the source of funds for capital expenditure comes from internal funds and third party loans.

Furthermore, Lukas explained that his party continued to carry out the replanting program in stages. So that 39% of the capex will be used for replanting oil palm plantations.

Along with the plan to increase production capacity this year, the company will also use 16% for infrastructure improvements and 7% for completing additional PKS capacity on plantations in West Kalimantan and frozen Edamame processing facility in Jember, East Java, said Lukas as quoted by Kontan.co.id this week.
