JAKARTA - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) is targeting growth in production volume and sales of nickel ore and bauxite this year, while ferronickel production and sales are stable compared to last year. This was conveyed by Kunto Hendrapawoko, Corporate Secretary of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) in a press release quoted on Monday (15/2).

He conveyed that the increase in nickel and bauxite ore production was in line with the need for raw materials for the ferronickel plant and alumina production. According to him, nickel ore sales are targeted to reach 6.71 million WMT, up from 3.30 million WMT in 2020, while bauxite sales increase to 2.73 million WMT from 1.23 million WMT last year.

As for this year, the production volume and sales volume of ferronickel are set at 26,000 tonnes of nickel (TNi) or stable compared to last year's 25,970 TNi and 26,163 TNi, respectively.
