Chairul Tanjung's company obtained OJK permission to acquire Bank Harda

JAKARTA - PT Mega Corpora, the parent company of PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA), which is owned by Chairul Tanjung, has received approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) regarding the planned acquisition of PT Bank Harda Internasional Tbk (BBHI).

Yohanes, President Director of BBHI, said that the OJK approval was received on March 10, 2021. For information, the total BBHI shares, to be taken over by Mega Corpora, are 73.71%.

"When the company's takeover process has been completed, then PT Mega Corpora will conduct a mandatory tender offer as regulated in the OJK regulations," said Yohanes through an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

According to idnfinancials.com data, currently 73.71% of BBHI's shares are owned by PT Hakimputra Perkasa. Public investors own as much as 15.81% of the shares, Ibnu Susanto owns 6.69% and the remaining 3.79% is owned by Kwee Sinto. (KR/VA)
