Graha Layar Prima reopened the CGV cinema in Madiun

JAKARTA - PT Graha Layar Prima Tbk (BLTZ) has officially reopened the CGV cinema in Madiun, East Java, after being closed for several months due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Yeo Deoksu, Director of BLTZ, admitted that the reopening was carried out after an instruction from the local government was issued regarding Enforcement of Limitations on Community Activities or ELCA. "The company has prepared a number of health protocols in accordance with the Ministry of Health guidelines and Madiun Mayor regulations," said Deoksu through an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) today.

Deoksu conveyed that the reopening would have a number of positive impacts. Starting from a positive impact on the national film industry, to job creation.

According to data from idnfinancials.com, BLTZ has reopened CGV cinemas in a number of cities since the beginning of 2021. Some of them are in Tegal, Karawang, Depok, Cirebon, Jakarta, Jember, Lampung, Palembang and Makassar.

By the end of February, 51% of BLTZ shares were controlled by CGI Holdings Limited. Then, as much as 40% of shares were owned by Coree Capital Limited, and the remaining 9% owned by public investors. (KR/VA)
