JAKARTA. PT Diagnos Laboratorium Utama Tbk. (DGNS) posted a fantastic net profit increase of 468% to IDR 52 billion in 2020, and a 256% increase in revenue to IDR 183 billion.
Main Director of Diagnos Laboratorium Utama, Mesha Rizal, said the performance increase was driven by the company which is actively conducting health checks and Covid-19 screening in the Polymerase Chain Reactions (PCR) test. From April to 31 December 2020, DGNS carried out PCR tests of 148,577 times.
Apart from conducting various tests, DGNS' revenue was also driven by the opening of two new branches throughout 2020, namely in Denpasar and Padang, which contributed 6.6% and 0.5% respectively to total revenue. (AM/LM)
