JAKARTA – PT Surya Essa Perkasa Tbk (ESSA) has acquired USD 495 million loans from a syndicated bank facility. This news was received from Vinod Laroya, President Director of ESSA, through the information disclosure on Tuesday (30/3).

Laroya stated that the loans would be allocated to pay the long-term obligation (refinancing) of its subsidiary, PT Panca Amara Utama (PAU), towards the International Finance Corporation (IFC). “This term loan was intended to strengthen the company’s financial stance during these uncertain times,” Laroya continued.

According to Laroya, the syndicated banks responsible for granting the loans consisted of local and international banks, but further details regarding which banks were left out. The loan would be active from when the transaction began last week (25/3) until December 31, 2027, through a corporate guarantee. (LK/ZH)
