JAKARTA. PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (BNII) is planning to share the cash dividend up to IDR 253.27 billion after obtaining approval from the Annual General Shareholders Meeting.
The total cash dividend distributed would be 20% of the company’s net profit in the fiscal year 2020. In the annual meeting, the shareholders also agreed to allocate IDR 19.52 billion, equivalent to 1.54% of the net profit, to general reserves. The remaining 78.46%, or IDR 993.56 billion, would be allotted to retained earnings.
The cumulative date of BNII’s cash dividend was set on April 8, 2021, while the payment would take place on April 29, 2021.
According to idnfinancials.com, by 2020, BNII has recorded a net interest income of IDR 7.3 trillion and a non-interest operating income of IDR 2.4 trillion. The collected third-party funds reached IDR 115 trillion, while the distributed credits made it to IDR 105.3 trillion.
By December 31, 2020, 45.02% of BNII shares were controlled by Sorak Financial Holding Pte. Ltd. Meanwhile, 33.96% were owned by Maybank Offshore Corporate Services (Labuan) SDN. BHD., 18.31% were owned by UBS AG London, and the remaining 2.71% by public investors. (KR/ZH)
