JAKARTA. PT Graha Layar Prima Tbk (BLTZ), the owner of CGV cinemas in Indonesia, reopens the CGV cinemas located in Purwokerto and Tangerang after obtaining permission from the local governments.

Yeo Deoksu, the Director of BLTZ, mentioned that the Purwokerto CGV that would be back in operation is in Rita Supermall. Then, the Tangerang CGV to be reopened is the cinema in Ecoplaza Citra Raya Cikupa.

The reopening of these two cinemas is set after BLTZ has obtained the circular and recommendation letters from the local regulators. Several months earlier, the company has temporarily closed the said cinemas to slow down the COVID-19 rate.

After reopening these cinemas, BLTZ would conduct the health protocols to prevent the COVID-19 disease from spreading within the areas. “It would follow the guidelines made by the Health Ministry and local regulations.” Yeo continued in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

According to idnfinancials.com data, the revenue of the BLTZ in 2020 went down significantly by 77.17% year-on-year to IDR 234.49 billion by September 30, 2020. This decline resulted in the company’s loss to IDR 303.04 billion. (KR/ZH)
