JAKARTA. PT NFC Indonesia Tbk (NFCX) announced the establishment of its subsidiary, PT Ekosistem Rintisan Digital (ERD), to support its primary business line.
Abraham Theofilus, NFCX President Director, claimed that the said subsidiary was set up through a joint venture. “The company owns 20% of ERD shares with the transaction value amounting to IDR 2 billion,” Theofilus stated through the information disclosure on Indonesia Stock Exchange today (9/4).
At the same time, Theofilus explained that the purpose of ERD establishment was to “support the company’s business activities.”
Based on idnfnancials.com data, NFCX has repeatedly invested funds to strengthen its digital business sector. On February 24, 2021, it contributed IDR 29.5 billion to its subsidiary, PT Digital Consumer Engagement (DCE). Prior to this, the company also set up a joint venture subsidiary with RANS Entertainment, PT DMMX Rans Digital.
As of September 30, 2020, 52.27% of NFCX shares were controlled by PT M Cash Integrasi Tbk (MCAS). Then, 11.56% were owned by PT 1 Inti Dot Com, 7.77% by Soteria Wicaksana Investama, and the remaining 23.21% by public investors. (KR/ZH)
