JAKARTA - PT Multifiling Mitra Indonesia Tbk (MFMI) sold a number of building and land assets to PT Central Sari Realty (CSR) for IDR 69.90 billion. This was conveyed by Senjaya Bidjaksana, Corporate Secretary of PT Multifiling Mitra Indonesia Tbk (MFMI) in an information disclosure quoted on Friday (9/4).
He conveyed that the building assets being sold were nine archive warehouses in nine locations, including Pasuruan, Bandung, Bali, Klaten, Makassar, Balikpapan, Palembang, Pekanbaru and Semarang. "The implementation of the asset light strategy will have a positive impact on company finances by bearing the costs of land and building procurement, including maintenance costs for unproductive buildings," he said.
After releasing the building assets, his party will lease five archive warehouses to CSR with a value of IDR 56.37 billion for 10 years. The rental price for the five warehouses is IDR 4.48 billion per year, with an increase of 5% per year from the rental price each year for the next 10 years.
According to him, the difference between the selling price and the rental price for the archive building of IDR 13.71 billion will be used for the distribution of interim dividends. There is no relationship between MFMI and CSR. (LK/LM)
