Djasa Ubersakti seeks opportunities in iron and split stones mining

JAKARTA – PT Djasa Ubersakti Tbk (PTDU), a construction company, is set to explore the iron ores and split stones mining business, expecting an additional revenue up to IDR 53.01 billion this year. Five years from now, the revenue gained from this business sector was estimated to reach IDR 105.75 billion.

Through the information disclosure, quoted on Wednesday (14/4), Pio Hizkia Wehantouw, the Director of Djasa Ubersakti, claimed that the company is conducting a feasibility study in the mining and mineral services sector. “The study has begun at the end of December 2020, and the report would be thorough on June 30, 2021,” Wehantouw continued.

According to Wehantouw, the company could expand the business into the mining and mineral sector based on the said feasibility study led by KJPP Dasa’at Yudistira and partners. The fund resource for this additional business line would rely on the company’s internal treasury.

Based on the study report, the volume for split stones production was estimated to reach 112.933 m3. With the price of IDR 350,000 per tonne, the revenue was predicted to reach IDR 5.64 billion. Meanwhile, the production of iron ores was estimated to reach 326,700 tonnes. With the price of IDR 1.01 million per tonne, the estimated revenue would reach IDR 47.37 billion by the end of 2021.
