Bank Mandiri issued MTN of USD 300 million in Singapore Stock Exchange

JAKARTA. PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) recently issued its third Euro Medium Term Notes (EMTN) of USD 300 million in the Singapore Stock Exchange.

Rudi As Aturridha, the Senior Vice President of BMRI, stated that the said debt security was issued with an annual fixed interest rate of 2% and tenor of 5 years. “The issuance of the third EMTN was a part of the company’s EMTN programme with a principal amount up to USD 2 billion,” Aturridha explained further through the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

For this occasion, BMRI assigned three security companies as joint lead managers. The three companies were the Singaporean branch of Deutsche Bank AG, the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, and Mandiri Securities Pte. Ltd.

To provide further details, BMRI would allocate the collected funds to its general necessities. Additionally, the company would also use it to fund the Eligible Green Assets project. (KR/ZH)
