KVision to acquire 30.01% stake in Bank Maspion

JAKARTA - Kasikom Vision Company Limited (KVision) becomes the buyer of 30.01% stake in PT Bank Maspion Indonesia Tbk (BMAS) in a planned rights issue which will take place on (21-25/6). This was stated in a brief company prospectus delivered by Iwan Djayawasita, Corporate Secretary of PT Bank Maspion Indonesia Tbk (BMAS) in an information disclosure quoted on Monday (26/3).

He conveyed that KVision and PT Alim Investindo (AI) had signed a conditional sale and purchase agreement related to the plan two weeks ago (13/4). "Currently, KVision is in the process of a fit and proper test at the Financial Services Authority (OJK), a banking supervisor," he said.

BMAS plans to conduct a rights issue by releasing 2,285,792,296 shares or as much as 33.97% of the issued and paid-up capital after the corporate action. Currently, BMAS has registered an authorized capital of Rp 1.2 trillion, issued and paid up capital of Rp 444.34 billion with share ownership structures, among others, AI 62.01%, Kasikom Bank Public Company Ltd 9.99%, PT Guna Investindo ( GI) 5.87%, PT Maspion 12.46%, and the community 9.67%.
