JAKARTA. PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) will distribute cash dividends of IDR 339.45 billion or IDR 31.7 per share, which comes from net profit from the 2020 financial year.
The amount of dividends distributed is equivalent to 50% of EXCL's net profit in the 2020 financial year, namely IDR 678.9 billion. This corporate action has received approval from the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) which was held at the end of last week.
In a disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, EXCL Management announced cum dividends on the regular market and negotiations on May 3, 2021, and May 5, 2021 on the cash market. Meanwhile, dividend payments will be made on May 21, 2021.
According to idnfinancials.com data, EXCL's net profit in the 2020 financial year has decreased by 47.85% year-on-year (yoy). The decline in net profit occurred in line with the company's revenue performance, which fell 3.49% yoy to IDR 26.01 trillion in 2020.
As of December 31, 2020 yesterday, 66.25% of EXCL shares were controlled by Axiata Investments (Indonesia) Sdn. Bhd. Meanwhile 33.22% of shares are owned by public investors and the remaining 0.53% is treasury shares. (KR/LM)
