JAKARTA - PT MNC Bank Internasional Tbk (BABP) will conduct a rights issue by issuing 14,234,614,925 Series B shares with a nominal value of IDR 50 per share. This was conveyed by Heru Sulistiadhi, Corporate Secretary of PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP) in an information disclosure quoted on Tuesday (4/5).
He conveyed that the proceeds from this corporate action were to increase the capital structure and credit expansion. The rights issue is planned to take place no later than 12 months after obtaining approval at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on June 9, 2021.
As of April 2021, BABP recorded authorized capital of IDR 6 trillion, and issued and paid-up capital of IDR 2.35 trillion, consisting of Series A shares of IDR 2.17 trillion and Series B of IDR 177.41 billion. The structure of share owner A, among others, PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) 36.75%, Winfly Ltd 19.57%, and Marco Prince Corp 8.35%, while Series B shareholders include, BCAP 13.68% and community 0.33%.
After this corporate action, BABP's paid-up and placed capital will increase to IDR 3.23 trillion, consisting of Series A IDR 2.20 trillion and Series B IDR 1.03 trillion. The shareholder structure, among others, BCAP 2.07%, Winfly Ltd 5.81%, Marco Prince Corp 2.48%, and warrants V 10.37 and the public 6.62%. (LK/LM)
