EMTK secured IDR 281.53 billion from selling buyback shares

JAKARTA – PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) managed to collect IDR 281.53 billion from selling 128,001,400 units of the buyback shares. Titi Maria Rusli, the Corporate Secretary of Elang Mahkota Teknologi, announced this gain in the information disclosure, quoted Tuesday (11/5).

Rusli specified that the stock from the buyback amounted to 1.406.650.650 shares, following the corporate action of a stock split with a 1:10 ratio. By selling 128 million units, the remaining shares now reach 1,278,649,250 units, equivalent to 1.09% of its issued capital.

The transfer of the said 128 million units was gradually made in six rounds from March 17 to April 1, 2021. The lowest and the highest price of the shares were IDR 2,161 and IDR 2.459 each. If calculating the median value of this transaction, the average selling price would be IDR 2.321 per unit.

According to Rusli, the company would sell the remaining stock starting May 10, 2021, to May 11, 2022. It appointed PT CSLA Sekuritas Indonesia as the executor of the stock sales. This stock trading would take a maximum of 20% of its entire buyback shares per day. (LK/ZH)
