3 Indonesia operator inaugurates digital network operation center

JAKARTA - 3 Indonesia inaugurated the Digital Network Operation Center (DNOC) in Jakarta. This new digital NOC was built in partnership with Huawei Indonesia and is designed to the highest standards of reliability to ensure uninterrupted operation of Indonesia's 3 network 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Equipped with a superior redundant power supply system, Indonesia's 3 Digital NOC can still operate even if a power failure occurs.

In addition, Digital NOC is supported by cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology with Machine Learning (ML) based solutions to monitor, control and operate Indonesia's 3 cellular networks covering Java, Bali, Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. There is also Augmented Reality (AR) technology that enables efficient operation and maintenance of the 3 Indonesian networks, including post-disaster network recovery in order to maintain the best network availability for 3 users in Indonesia.

Cliff Woo, President Director of Hutchison 3 Indonesia said, “Over the past two years, the number of our 4G sites across Indonesia has almost doubled. Making it the third largest 4G cellular network in Indonesia. The new Digital Network Operation Center allows us to improve network management and pave the way for 5G connectivity.”
