JAKARTA. PT FinAccel Teknologi Indonesia, the developer of Kredivo, purchased 24% of PT Bank Bisnis Internasional Tbk’s (BBSI) stock worth IDR 551.31 billion.
According to the information disclosure on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) released today (24/5), Laniwati Tjandra, the President Director of Bank Bisnis Internasional, announces the report of changes in the company’s shares ownership until May 21, 2021.
Tjandra revealed that the said transaction took place on May 21, 2021. The number of the purchased stock reached 726,367,057 units worth IDR 759 each. This action crowns FinAccel as the new stockholder, immediately controlling 24% of BBSI.
In the same report, Tjandra also admitted that the aim of this initiative was an investment, and the shares ownership status is direct ownership. (AM/ZH)
