JAKARTA - Batik Air (flight code ID) member of Lion Air Group announces the appointment of the President Director (Chief Executive Officer / CEO) - Capt. Wisnu Wijayanto, to replace the Executive Director (Plh), namely Capt. Daniel Putut Kuncoro Adi.
Capt. Wisnu Wijayanto is part of the senior leadership team at Lion Air Group. Previously acting in January 2014 - January 2017 as Director of Safety, Security and Quality Assurance of Batik Air then Director of Airport Facility (Director of Airport Facility - PT Angkasa Aviasi Servis) a member of the Lion Air Group which is responsible for operational services for passengers, goods, cargo. and aircraft while on the ground (ground support and handling).
Starting May 20, 2021 to coincide with the momentum of the National Awakening Day, Capt. Wisnu Wijayanto began carrying out Batik Air's mission as an airline operator to provide premium concept flights (full service airlines).
Now Batik Air is supported by a fleet of modern technology and features that provide comfort for every guest while in the cabin, consisting of 44 Airbus 320-200CEO (12 business class and 144 economy class), six Boeing 737-900ER (12 business class and 168 class economy), 25 Boeing 737-800NG (12 business class and 150 economy class) and one Airbus 320-200NEO (12 business class and 144 economy class).
