JAKARTA - Entering the last week of May 2021, IDX trade data for the week was still in the positive zone. The highest increase occurred in the average daily exchange value of 32.74 percent, amounting to IDR 14.121 trillion from IDR10.638 trillion in the previous week.
Then, the increase also occurred in the average daily transaction volume of the stock exchange by 32.05 percent to 20.697 billion shares from 15.674 billion shares last week. The average daily frequency of the stock exchange also increased by 7.16 percent to 1,106,572 transactions from 1,032,644 transactions at the close of last week.
Not only that, market capitalization during the period 24-28 May 2021 also increased by 1.32 percent to IDR 6,922.886 trillion from IDR 6,832.583 trillion in the previous week. Meanwhile, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) also increased by 1.31 percent to 5,848,616 levels from the previous week's closing level of 5,773,120.
Last week there was 1 (one) share listing on the capital market, namely PT Harapan Duta Pertiwi Tbk. (HOPE) on Monday. This company is officially listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Development Board (BEI). HOPE is the 17th company listed on the IDX in 2021. (LM)
