JAKARTA - The national airline PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk (GIAA) together with PT Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD) officially launched a new feature on the "Fly Garuda" application that provides easy integrated transportation services, especially for people who need transportation services from and to the airport. Through this new feature, Garuda Indonesia customers can order Bluebird and Silverbird taxis on the "Fly Garuda" application.
President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Irfan Setiaputra, said that the development of this service is Garuda Indonesia's effort as a national flag carrier to continue to move adaptively by innovating to maximize safe and comfortable flight services, both through the development of sustainable digital transformation to collaboration with strategic partners.
To enjoy this new feature, service users can use the service through the Fly Garuda application in the "taxi" product category by filling in complete order information such as personal data (name, phone number, and pick-up schedule), pick-up location, and destination address. The estimated price will automatically appear when the order information has been filled in completely. In addition, this service can be booked at least 15 minutes before the scheduled pick up time.
President Director of PT Blue Bird Tbk, Noni Purnomo welcomes the cooperation with Garuda Indonesia. Noni also added that the accessibility of Bluebird Group services on the Fly Garuda application is the first step of cooperation and later Bluebird passengers will also be able to order Garuda Indonesia tickets through the MyBluebird application. In the future, Garuda Indonesia and Bluebird will continue to develop their cooperation with other business lines, especially cargo through Garuda Indonesia's subsidiary - Aero Jasa Cargo - as a strategy to capture the logistics business opportunity which is currently growing rapidly in Indonesia.
