Wika Realty takes over 49% of Patra Jasa’s stakes in Hotel Indonesia

JAKARTA – PT Wijaya Karya Realty (WKR), a subsidiary of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), acquires 49% stakes of PT Patra Jasa, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), in PT Hotel Indonesia Group (State-Owned Holding Hotel).

Mahendra Vijaya, the Corporate Secretary of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), claims that this stock acquisition is related to WKR’s objectives to integrate and improve state-owned hotel businesses. “The number of acquired shares is 1,470 units, equal to 49% of the issued and paid-up capital of Hotel Indonesia Group, achieved through a sales-purchase scheme,” Vijaya explains in the information disclosure, quoted Wednesday (16/6).

According to Vijaya, this transaction took place last week (11/6), reaching IDR 1.56 billion in value. It is below the exception requirement set by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) of IDR 5 billion. Pertamina owns 99.9% of Patra Jasa, while WIKA controls 93.04% of WKR. (LK/ZH)
