Bank JTrust Indonesia to issue 4.66 billion Series C shares

JAKARTA – PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk (BCIC) would issue 4,665,700,000 Series C shares with a nominal price of IDR 100 each. The funds gathered would then be channelled to improve the bank’s core capital according to regulations of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). This action plan is awaiting approval from the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting on July 23, 2021.

Based on the prospectus quoted on Thursday (17/6), BCIC currently owns authorised capital of IDR 14.99 trillion, comprising Series A shares of IDR 1,000 each, amounting to IDR 12 trillion and Series B shares of IDR 7.8 million each, amounting to IDR 2.99 trillion. The issued and paid-up capital is IDR 12.21 trillion, consisting of Series A of IDR 10.01 trillion and Series B of IDR 2.21 trillion. Lastly, stock in portfolio is made up of Series A of IDR 1.98 trillion and Series B of IDR 788.68 billion.

After this corporate action, BCIC would raise its authorised capital to IDR 20 trillion, including Series A of IDR 12 trillion, Series B 2.29 trillion, and Series C of IDR 5 trillion.

J Trust Co Ltd, Japan, shows its commitment by providing IDR 600 billion. This number results from the transfer of subordinated debts II of IDR 400 billion and paid-up capital of IDR 200 billion. J Trust Asia Pte Ltd also invests IDR 747.12 billion, taken from the conversion of subordinated loans 1-2 and 4-5. Finally, PT JTrust Investment Indonesia participates with IDR 15 billion, originating from the conversion of subordinated loans 7. (LK/ZH)
