JAKARTA – PT Sejahtera Bintang Abadi Tbk (SBAT), a textile manufacturer, intends to increase its textile production to 9,000 bales per month from 7,000 bales per month. To support this objective, the company seeks to purchase six units of Open-End machines and its supporting facilities, estimated to reach IDR 120 billion.

In the information disclosure quoted on Friday (18/6), the management reveals that the textile production yielded from the existing machines has not yet met the consumers’ demand. With this production boost, the company hopes to answer the export demand.

The company has received several offers from PT Sri Chakra Berkat (SCB), PT Panca Rajarka Pratama Textile Clinic (PRPT), and Panca Sakit International Private Limited (PSIP), Singapore.

The transaction’s value reaches 79.28% of the company’s total equity in February 2021 of IDR 179.75 billion. Its assets and liability clocks at IDR 566.86 billion and IDR 396.10 billion. (LK/ZH)
