IFC channels a credit phase II of USD 35 million to SSIA

JAKARTA – International Finance Corporation (IFC) issues a loan of USD 35 million to PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA). This recent loan facility is the second phase of the total loan package worth USD 100 million agreed on May 2018.

Herman Gunadi, the Corporate Secretary of Surya Semesta Internusa, claims that this facility is intended to support sustainable projects within the Subang Metropolitan (SM) project. “This supreme project would provide new green and sustainable standards for the industrial zones by bringing in latest technologies,” Gunadi continues, as conveyed in the press conference on Tuesday (6/7).

The management targets to sell 40 Ha from this SM project by this year. Its return is estimated to multiply by 15%.

The loan facility is due June 15, 2026. It annual interest rate is 8.96%, with the payment sent out every six months in June and December. In the first phase in 2019, SSIA had received the credit of IDR 702.5 billion, equivalent to USD 50 million, with a fixed interest rate of 10.06%. (LK/ZH)
