JAKARTA – PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri (BUMA), the subsidiary of PT Delta Dunia Makmur (DOID), obtains a loan worth USD 350 million. This facility would be utilised in operational financing regarding the contract with PT Indonesia Pratama (IP) and PT Adaro Energy (AE).

In a press conference quoted Tuesday (6/7), Olga Oktavia Patuwo, the Corporate Secretary of Delta Dunia Makmur, claims that the loan granted by PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) is intended to support BUMA’s growth. “The loan tenor is 4.75 years, with LIBOR interest rate of +3% per year,” Patuwo adds.

According to Patuwo, this facility enables financial flexibility for BUMA to establish its mining business. This year, BUMA had signed a development contract with IP and AE to increase the coal volume for this year and the next one.

“We are committed to managing the working capital and investment with care so that we could generate better result for the stakeholders,” Patuwo claims. (LK/ZH)
