JAKARTA – Alam Synergy Pte Ltd (ASPL), a subsidiary of PT Alam Sutera Realty Tbk (ASRI), clears a portion of ASPL Bond’s principal amount of USD 46.57 million through a tender offer that ended yesterday (7/7). The said bond has a fixed interest rate of 6.625% per year, maturing in 2022.

Tony Rudiyanto, the Corporate Secretary of Alam Sutera Realty, reveals that his company has completed the tender offer for the said bond of USD 22.47 million. “The funds used for organising the tender offer come from internal cash and a credit facility from PT Bank Central Asia Tk (BBCA),” Rudiyanto adds in the information disclosure, quoted Thursday (8/7).

According to Rudiyanto, this recent payment would cut down the principal amount of the bond and further generate a positive result in the company’s financial situation. The tender offer period had been initiated on June 17, 2021.

It is also mentioned that the tender offer is not considered as a public offering, as stated in Act No.8/1995 regarding Capital Market. (LK/ZH)
