HOKI distributes IDR 9.67 billion in cash dividend

JAKARTA – PT Buyung Poetra Sembada Tbk (HOKI), a listed company that produces branded rice under the brand of “Topi Koki” and “HOKI”, consistently distribute cash dividends to shareholders despite the difficult condition due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) that was held on July 7, 2021, it was decided that HOKI will distribute cash dividends with a total of IDR9.67 billion or around 26% of 2020 comprehensive income which was recorded at IDR37.44 billion.

Budiman Susilo as Director of HOKI said, “In the midst of the challenges during Covid-19 pandemic, we are grateful that we are still able to carry out HOKI’s commitment in distributing dividends as an appreciation to shareholders. Therefore, HOKI would like to thank the shareholders for their trust in HOKI and we will continue to strive in improving good performance. It is expected that the pandemic and economic conditions will recover soon.”

HOKI will continue to improve its performance by developing various long-term growth strategies. This year, HOKI will continue the construction of its new factory in the Tugumulyo area, Ogan Komering Ilir, South Sumatra, adding dryer and hulling machines, as well as diversifying consumer goods products through its subsidiary, PT Hoki Distribusi Niaga. As you may have heard, HOKI is also in the process of increasing its total production capacity in all of its factories up to 75 tonnes/hour by the end of 2021. To carry out these strategies, the allocation of capital expenditure for 2021 is projected to become up to IDR100 billion. All of the capex funding would be from the Company’s internal cash and bank loans.
