Acset to issue 15 billion shares via private placement

JAKARTA – PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) would issue a private placement, offering 15 billion shares, equivalent to 70.01% of its entire issued and paid-up capital of 15.70 billion units. This corporate action would be further decided during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting on August 18, 2021.

In its prospectus, quoted Tuesday (13/7), ACST to spend the entire proceeds of IDR 1.5 trillion to cover its debt towards PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), amounting to IDR 939.78 billion. Another IDR 560.21 billion would be channelled to business expansion.

Currently, ACST’s authorised capital reaches IDR 1.57 trillion, while its issued and paid-up capital clocks up to IDR 642.51 billion. The stockholder structure consists of PT Karya Supra Perkasa (KSP) 64.84%, PT Cross Plus Indonesia (CPI) 7.12%, and public investors 28.04%. Lastly, the stock in the portfolio amounts to IDR 927.48 billion.

After this action takes place, its authorised capital increases to IDR 2.75 trillion, while its issued and paid-up capital triples to IDR 2.14 trillion. Then, KSP would gain 89.45% of the shares, CPI 2.14%, and the public 8.41%. Meanwhile, the portfolio stock would thin out to IDR 427.54 billion. (LK/ZH)
